A World Cup Final
Just as I said before, the match against Iran will be like a World Cup Final with both teams desperate to get the full three points albeit for different reasons. This time, was Figo who said it.
“I expect a difficult game because it will be one of the last chances for Iran to try to get through to the next round,” the Portuguese captain told a news conference. “Everyone knows that if they get a negative result they will be out.
“In contrast, if we win we will qualify for the next round. It is like a final for both teams,” he said of Saturday’s Group D clash in Frankfurt.

That’s exactly the kind of attitude the captain should have and it should permeate to the rest of the team.

Mexico just equalised against Angola! Perfect opportunity for us to top the group and perhaps avoid Argentina.

Lets not get out of hand. Iran will fight for their lives and so will Mexico, as their pride is hurt. Two very tough games to come.
How do you like Angola now? How does that Portugal v Angola match look now? Nice job palancas!
