Blatter strikes again

April 19th, 2006 | By: Luis Paulo | 1 Comment »

It seems like we can’t spend a day without listen to Blatter saying something stupid. Yesterday, in his speech against the G-14, he accused the FC Porto’s managers of lobbing on FPF to call Vitor Baia for the World Cup so they could raise his price on a transfer. It’s seems to me that he chose a very stupid example once Baia is already 36 and will probably end his career at Porto. FC Porto’s managers are demanding further explanations about this outrageous speech.

I don’t believe that’s the reason – sell him for more $ – and I also don’t even believe he wants to leave FC Porto.

But I put my $ saying there must be HUGE pressures to make him…

Knowing Scolari, he wouldn’t go if he was covered in gold… And I stick with Scolari on this one.
