Here is an interesting article from the The New York Times on C. Ronaldo. I’m glad to see some in the media showing a level head now that the World Cup is over. It’s just a shame they couldn’t do the same during the competition when it was most needed.

Rooney came out publically stating to BBC it´s all water under the bridge with C Ronaldo, that in that moment both were not team mates, but players that wanted to win for their respective countries

AND

he also said that, in his view, only one players could have been given the youth players award and that was C Ronaldo.
