FA makes its bid

April 27th, 2006 | By: Luis Paulo | 1 Comment »

FA Managers arrived in Portugal early today to offer Scolari the job as England’s coach. While Scolari is asking for € 7,2 millions(the same as Sven) the British are willing to give him a € 4,3 millions annual salary plus some bonus if he reach good results in England. Felipão however did not attend the meeting. He was represented by the football manager, Gilmar Veloz. He (Scolari) still denies any negotiation with the British.

F.A. won’t “drop the bone”…

It’s OK if they want the guy. Go on, pay him 7 million pounds… Hard to resist that! But could they please shut up until the end of July and leave the man alone till he does his job?

Isn’t it enough to practically destroy their own team’s spirit with silly criticism and stupid talks about “the coach to come”? Just to feed the paper rolling machines. Now it’s Portugal who will suffer from all this unstable climate being generated by them…
