Not sure if it’s the same song. It has the same line “menos ais” (= less whining) that Figo sang while shaving. But the full lyrics are different.

I liked the Galp commercial during the EC2004. It had the same song as this one but it ended with Figo singing along while shaving. funny.

Isn’t that the truth. Think like a winner and more aften than not you are one.
I too feel that our team has a totally different attitude than previuos teams. This group of players believe that they are special and at this level the mental aspect of the game has as much bearing as the physical.
I think a large part of this attitude change can be atributed to Scolari.
We need to start winning more and more so we can develope a culture of assuming we belong at the top instead of being surprised when we get there.
All champions have that mental mind set. The Brazilians, Italians and Germans always believe they will be champions and therefore tend to do well.

I totally agree. Watching Portugal play in the Euro made me feel like something special is taking place on this team. They have the right talent pool and the right coach.

I can appreciate what Galp was trying to do. You have to think like winners. Look at Brazil. They have convinced everyone that they are always ‘already’ champions. It’s up to someone to prove them wrong. And as we all know, they are more often right then wrong. Forca Portugal! 1 month to go…

If it happens, it won’t be a miracle anymore…

I believe POR has everything to reach the last 16. We SHOULD at least reach the last 8, but to get there we have to meet one from Group C – I sincerely hope all those 4 give eachother a heavy battering so that, if we get out of groups, the one we get is “tired”…

After that, if there is an after that, no team is easy but also because of that anything’s possible! And I agree with Scolari when he says POR’s team is stronger now than 2 years ago. I imagine the only heavy loss is Rui Costa. For everything else, the team IS stronger and more complete in all aspects.

Of course… All of this is very beautifull, but what it counts is how many you put in…

Nice commercial on Galp’s part, but if the miracle happens, the party will be far more outrageous then that. In fact, I might just jump on a plane to share it with you all. Forca Portugal!
