I Picked A Hell of a Time to Be Busy

Sorry for not posting a preview and review of the two atrocities we witnessed but I had business as well as personal items to attend to. As it’s my first day returning from both, give me a day or two to get back into the swing of feeling like this may turn into a Euro 2012 Qualifying blog sometime soon.

I too am looking forward to Euro 2016, then again even qualification for the 24 team Euro 2016 might end up being quite difficult to do if we can’t even beat Albania at home.

Here´s the list for the friendly against Brasil, away, this week.
I think PT never beat Brasil, in Brasil. Last time it happened was almost 20 years ago…

N Gomes and Quaresma out, César Peixoto and Rolando, in.
Tiago back on the list.

Eis a lista de convocados:
Atletico Madrid: Maniche e Simão;
Chesea FC: Bosingwa, Deco e Paulo Ferreira;
FC Porto: Bruno Alves, Raúl Meireles e Rolando;
FC Zenit: Danny;
Galatasaray SK: Fernando Meira;
Juventus FC: Tiago;
Manchester United FC: Cristiano Ronaldo e Nani;
Real Madrid CF: Pepe;
SC Braga: César Peixoto e Eduardo;
SL Benfica: Quim;
Sporting CP: João Moutinho;
SV Werder Bremen: Hugo Almeida;
Valência CF: Miguel;

talento nao falta, mas parece que ninguem quere jogar a serio…where are the balls this team needs?
I’m tired of suffering through matches that we dominate until 2 minutes from the end only to see victory slip away–the game against Albania was a big embarrassment to all Portuguese around the world.

Let’s hope they put it together for the next game or it’s over for 2010.

Pedro, didn’t we beat Brazil in Deco’s debut (2003)?

And I’m pretty sure it happened last year….2-0 to us. (Carvalho & Simao scored, I believe).

EDIT:
Just read you said in Brazil (as in we’ve never beaten them there)….kill me now.
