Matinee Monday: Figo and Rui Costa Show How It’s Done

The video isn’t ONLY of them, but it should serve as a reminder to the younger guys who will be expected to marshal the team to victory this summer of how good those who came before them are/were. Also, maybe it can show the youngsters where to put the ball when they have it at their feet. (The net would be a good start).

Always a classic. OUR classic but I think some of these images are a classic in football as well.
As you put it, I really hope they can find the back of the net, Otherwhise it’s not gonnna be fun at all…

BTW, who d’ya think will go through in our group? And in the other groups? I’m sure SWI is going through, which leaves us to fight it with Turkey and the Czechs…

Another classic: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3-NcjrPYZxA
Germany were still reigning champions then…

Is SWI going through in your mind by default as home team in a tricky environment (altitude)? Because I had Czech and Chops easy to the 2nd round…
