Mo’ please

We’re deep into qualification matches and at this moment nothing matters more then results. But regardless of the final score against Serbia, lets stop to consider how much of a joy it is to watch them play.

Ronaldo might not play today? No problem. Bring on Simão, Quaresma, or Nani!

Scolari with quite a sober interview, especially concerning the Belgium match (PT): http://www.ojogo.pt/23-35/artigo620098.asp
The team will in principle not change, although CR might not start: http://www.ojogo.pt/23-35/artigo620087.asp
The 4-3-3 is to be maintained: http://www.ojogo.pt/

Will Portugal be wearing the away kit at Serbia? I think that the all black is beautiful but have yet to see a match with these unis.

Forca!

Whoohoo I got my internet to work again just in time!! Best of luck to our boys in Belgrade, I have total faith that they will come through with the three points! It is great to have Simão back, on the field or on the bench it is just nice to know we have that level of talent in abundance! While my faith in Nuno Gomes is less than 100% the rest of the attacking line is simply magic and as long as Gomes can continue to score an important goal when it is needed then I can’t complain. I also totally agree with how great it is to see Andrade back in the game. To come through injury and get your game back to such a high level is outstanding and his presence makes me feel much more comfortable against some of the more difficult teams in the group. I know you can do it today boys!

Força Portugal!!!

P.S. As for the picture on the last article it is quite gay but I would be just as concerned about Quaresma who seems to be enjoying the hug a little too much ;)

I think Serbia wears blue and white at home, but not sure. Chances are we’ll be in maroon again.

Oh man. What a tough match. Goal by Tiago was sublime. After that Serbia looked the better attacking side. Nothing good can come when you give up so many corners.

1 - 1 at halftime

Time to take a deep breath and regroup. Portugal was playing much better toward the end of the half.

How about that white kit? Whoah, I wasn’t expecting that. It looks kinda classic with the yellow border and green sox.

yea that white kit threw me off

i was expecting (and hoping) for the black….i think it looks really nice

anyway the game was tough and serbia really played their hearts out….even after our goal i was sitting on the edge of my seat for the entire first half

the defense was really shaky for the majority of the first half…a bit of luck helped us from going under

second half was much better i think…though i think scolari should have brought in quaresma earlier

and im not completely sure…but doesnt Ronaldo’s yellow mean he will miss the next match? i think i remember him getting a yellow last match

Good game today, Tiago played extremely well! Aside from his goal, his other long shots were all very testing for Serbia.

Why was Quaresma brought on so late?????
