More lobby for Scolari
It’s seems like the perfect time to lobby for Scolari in England. People who were claiming for a British coach are now saying that there is no better man then Scolari for the job. They are even making graphics to prove it. They are ignoring the question of nationality and saying that Scolari is the passport to success. Richard Williams from The Guardian, Matt Dickinson form The Times or any other British newspaper is willing to even offer their daughter to marry Big Phil as long as he goes do England.
But it was not before Sepp Blatter became against this transfer that I was totally sure that it was the best for the British.

The English can beg and draw charts all they want. Felipao is going to Croatia next!

No offence to england fans but if you appoint mclaren as coach, im going to laugh my ass off. The england fa is a joke and have not got their nations interests at heart. Their policy is understandable i suppose, line up our pockets as much as possible before someone throws us out. Thats why they didnt appoint clough back in the day.

It seems to me ENG is really more and more desperate… How, in the brains of normal people, do they think they can help their team with this type of gossip, DAYS before the WC starts??? And they even make it look normal…
Anyway, as a portuguese and a Scolari fan, I’d hate to see him leave POR. Buf, if he would go to ENG, I’d actually love to see how he would just twist the media and make them come and eat at his hand… Like Mourinho, but in a totally different style…
No doubt, ENG would have no excuse (anymore) with Scolari…

All this FA crap is too funny. Look, we all know Scolari is in demand. That’s why PT went for him in the first place. Scolari is the consummate professional. I don’t think he’ll let us down.
If, this Friday, the FA wants to make him a public offer, then so be it. He should then graciously thank them for their consideration and offer to provide them with a response on July 10, 2006. That would solve all the controversy. As a PT fan, I hope he does well in Germany and decides to stay in Portugal, for more money of course. But he is entitled to consider his options. In his defense, the English press is ruthless and won’t really drop the conjecture, until the freakin’ FA makes a call. Scolari has tried to refocus public attention on PT, but he could more easily achieve that if he simply refused to commit to anything until 7/10.

Big Phil is great. He said he would not consider anything before the end of the World Cup. The English FA should follow his example. They are crushing England’s spirit while Scolari is fighting for Portugal.
Many players will be under this kind of stress because of club’s proposals too, so keep your fingers crossed!

The saga continues…
