More news on Scolari’s World
Luiz Felipe Scolari confirmed his meeting with the British FA. He complains that the FPF did not want to negotiate his contract renewal before the World Cup and therefore he could not jeopardize his future(in Portuguese). “The national team results are the best ever. Portugal was runner-up in Euro04 for their first time. We won the Qualifies easily. We stayed 12 or 13 games without being defeated. Do I still need to pass through a final test”? He remembers that the FPF never talked to him about a renewal. “Who guarantees me a job after the World Cup”?(in Portuguese)
The FPF’s manager Gilberto Madaíl says that he cannot negotiate Scolari contract before the World Cup(in Portuguese). However, he is meeting Scolari’s manager Gilmar Veloz(in Portuguese) today.
All this mess puts the Portuguese National Team in a bad situation. However, I see no reason why Madaíl can’t talk about Scolari’s contract before the World Cup.

I don’t see why they can’t put a hypathetical proposal on the table. I agree with Scolari. He has done wonderful things for PT, but he hasn’t delivered the most important objective of all – a title. I think Medail has every right to expect him to deliver on that.

There is a report out the says Scolari has received death threats from the Potuguese because he is considering leaving Portugal…go to the following link to hear.

Soze,
Don’t beleive it! The british would say anything as long as they don’t have to admit how desperate they are. Scolari has redeemed himself in my eyes. He got us this far. We’re in it together now. Forca Portugal!

Scolari deserves whatever he wants, but he must deliver! Pure and simple, Championships=Contracts.
