This year, FIFA will give a new prize during the World Cup: the best young player. 40 players will be eligible to win this award. After Rooney’s injury, Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi became the favorites to win the prize. Although many players are eligible only could be consider a world class player who figures as the team’s biggest stars.
