Our Talisman

May 25th, 2006 | By: Luis Paulo | 2 Comments »

Bob wrote today about World Cup superstitions. I must say that I have a fell. I always wear the same shirt every single time. I also try to point one pub to me my World Cup pub. Actually, it’s more some kind of tradition them a superstition itself. The Portuguese players have a few too. In a country with such strong religious believes, it’s natural to the player to have their pre-game ritual. They even choose Deco to be their talisman.

I agree 100%. Anything Deco touches turns to gold. Just listen to his interviews. Confidence, focus, relaxed yet determined to achieve results. He’s a true professional. We should all pilgrimage to Fatima and make a promise to keep him healthy and in top form. If he has a bad tourny, PT will have a bad tourny.

Serbia just scored first against PT. 1 – nil.
