Pauleta at the top

Pauleta was once again, nominee as the best player at the French League. Pauleta who won this prize in 2002 and 2003 will compete against Lyon’s trio: Juninho Pernambucano, Malouda and Wiltord. The winner will be announced at May 7th, at the Olympia, in Paris.

Pauleta has dominated the French league, but his legacy depends on delivering in the big tournaments. Without his regular scoring, PT will not reach its ultimate objective.

PORTUGAL MAY USE THE 4-2-3-1-1 SCHEME. AND C. RONALD PLAYING JUST BEHIND THE STRIKE TO CREATE SPACE FOR PAULETTA OR NUNO GOMES. RONALD’S BLAST AGAINST RUSSIA WAS IN THIS SCHEME.
