Pauleta, Pauleta

Pauleta

Pauleta, Pauleta, where for art thou Pauleta?

Like you, I’m wondering when our master marksman will make his mark. He started well with a goal against Angola, but since then, Pauleta hasn’t found the net. I realize he’s not entirely to blame, and I have pointed out on many occasions that when you play with a single striker, you have to provide good service and often. Our opponents have, for large stretches of time, made it difficult for that to happen, but now more then ever, we need our ‘goal machine’ to come alive.

Big Phil please figure something out to bring Pauleta into this competition.

Força Portugal!

He didn’t have any service. Most of the players were content taking long distance shots, rather then trying to feed it to through to Pauleta.

He is by far the best striker on the team, and I hope he starts against France.

you’re right, portugal needs pauleta back in shape as soon as possible because he is very important not only for scoring.Still i think that the key player of your team in this semifinal will be ronaldo(not just because he is my favourite player) due to his speed and quick dribble against some old french guys…experienced but old nonetheless

How is Pauletta supposed to score when he is offside 95% of the match. We are better off playing with no attackers and just playing for penalties like last game. Its our only chance.

Pauletta seems to be losing his skills. Maybe it si better to sit him down. I think Ernest is right in the fact that it almost seems like we have been playing without forwards with the lack of attacking we have been doing,. WE will lose if we dont play alot better next game.

I had a dream :)

And in that dream I saw Simão on the left, Figo on the Right, Deco as playmaker and Ronaldo up front :)

But I do hope Pauleta scores an Hat-trick. He´ll be hearing all those french voices in the penalty box and feel right at home :)

Go Pauleta :)

Webster:

It probably was :)

Anyway – I wouldn´t want any major team restructuration this far along… I´d start with the “normal” 11. Inject Simão and Goal-hungry Gomes into the match if it´s going south…

Pauletta is overated. ALthough he is not a big diver and that is rare on our team. ALthough he is teh offside king.

I am hoping to see Pauleta shine during the next match. I know he has it…he just needs to bring it out…

Another thing, the match should be quite even. Pauleta i think is the offside prince…now Henry… he is the offside king.

FORCA PORTUGAL!
all the way!

Pauleta isn’t that great. He is good and all but he is no Christiano Ronaldo or Luis Figo. Sooner or later he will take the spotlight.
