March 1st, 2006 | By: Jennifer Brazil Holder | No Comments »

Today, the federation unveiled Portugal’s FIFA World Cup program. The friendly match won by Portugal 3-0 with Saudi Arabia is the squad’s last friendly before the 23 man squad is announced, by Scolari, for the May 15 finals. The team will then train beginning May 20 in the historical city of Evora, located south of Lisbon, and will play a warm up game a week later, with the Cape Verde Islands. It was also announced the venue for the friendly warm up game with Luxembourg will move to Metz, France, instead of its original location in Luxembourg.

The national team will be in west central Germany June 4, and based at Marienfeld.
