Quaresma out of the World Cup

According to FC Porto’s president Pinto da Costa, Quaresma won’t be capped by Luiz Felipe Scolari. He will be playing in the U-21 European tournament. “It will sound absurd, but today at 8 PM, it will be announced that one Porto’s player, the best one in our League, won’t be capped for the World Cup. They just couldn’t wait until Monday.

He later said that this player was Quaresma. The U-21 squad is to be announced today.
