Quinta-Feira Question Time: White Knights
I’m trying to put together some campy ideas for filler between matches. One idea I had was to throw a question out there for discussion every week and let you, the intelligent, good looking Chop fan offer your opinion on the matter. So let’s see how this goes… New white kits: love or hate? I personally can’t wait to get a Quaresma white top.

Okay, I’ll go first.
Hate them. I don’t like the retro look. Not sure exactly what’s throwing me off, but I don’t like them.

I feel that the white jersey is a bad idea considering the maroon ones are amazing for masking the sangria stains that no doubt will appear before the end of the match due to heavy alcohol intake and large portuguese bartenders’ butts smacking into my elbows while they bring some picanha around to the tables

I think these are just the new secondary (away) jerseys. Not yet the main kits. For that I expect, and hope, some sort of variation on the maroon. The darker the red, the better. If with green shorts, then dark green. Otherwhise they´ll look like a salad (tomato and lettuce), like te ones from some years ago… And a bigger FPF symbol.
As secondary, I prefer the whites to the black. The black&gold were super cool but somehow, for me, didn´t really fit the team. Too “Darth Vader” like…

I don’t mind them, at least they are not pink (and I am a Benfica fan). I did prefer the black ones better over the white ones.

I like those shirts but BOTH the red and the white need to have green shorts!
