Quinta-Feira Question Time: Who Do You Hate the Least?

April 17th, 2008 | By: Greg | 6 Comments »

2NDActually, who’s your second favorite? If Portugal were to go out of the EURO2008 tournament this summer, who would you then turn your cheering towards? Would you go for the biggest underdog still left? Would you even pay any further attention to the tournament if the Selecção were eliminated?

I tried looking at the other teams, but I came up with a player or two on almost every one that I can’t frigging stand. Therefore, I personally would probably remain neutral and simply hope for good matches and ratings so that ESPN will continue to carry further tournaments like this.

My second team would be Croatia. The other two that usually play nice ball are now the enemies (Turkey and Czech).
But it will depend on how it goes…

I think I’m with AJ on this one. Spain if we can’t make it, unless Spain knocks us out. Then all bets are off.

i’m going to have to agree and say spain too. they’ve got some cool players who are still pretty young and have a lot of potential so i think they’d be exciting to watch. also, i think the “group of death” with the netherlands, italy, and france will be really interesting to follow …so that should be entertaining too.

i have to admit that i won’t follow the tournament with as much interest if portugal gets knocked out though…especially if it’s early.
