Santos will be the 23rd Portuguese player

Bruno Vale fractured his right foot on Thursday in an under-21 match against Serbia and Montenegro at the European championship in Portugal. For his place, Luiz Felipe Scolari called Paulo Santos who was capped for the NT several times before.
