Team of Tomorrow Tuesday: Yannick Djaló

A featured striker on Rui Caçador’s Sub-21 team, Yannick’s had a disappointing season for Sporting up until recently when he’s been on a goal scoring explosion.

I like his game, his pace, and his nose for the goal. However, he can tend to be a bit streaky and give you three games with two goals each and then take the next five off. Just when you start to forget about him, he’ll put in another brace.

The way the senior team is going right now, a striker who can score is going to be priceless, hopefully Yannick can get some definitive consistency about him and provide the future Selecção with a potent force up front. Peep some of his handiwork below…
