The other’s week

April 15th, 2006 | By: Luis Paulo | 1 Comment »

Now that we already took a closer look at our opponents we should follow their steps until the World Cup. So let’s see how their week was.

Angola – There were some rumors that José Mourinho would be helping the Angolans at this World Cup. However the Angolans Football Managers had already denied it.

Iran – Mahdavikia’s bigamy is old news. It seems like the Iranians schedule the friendly games they always wished. They will be playing against Croatia on May 28th and Bosnia-Herzegovina on May 30th. It’s too bad they are not facing Serbia & Montenegro at the World Cup 1st stage.

Mexico – Blanco’s controversy still news in Mexico. Lavolpe has even threatened to resign again. Meanwhile they already started their preparation to the World Cup with 22 of the 26 pre-called players.

Iran vs Croatia should be an interesting (especially for us) game.
