This Is a Joke Right?
Cristiano Ronaldo is playing out of his mind right now. Manchester United won 4-0 on the weekend over Aston Villa. He scored an outrageous backward flick nutmeg to open his account and then assisted on the three remaining goals. Where are those Manchester United fans who wanted him gone after the World Cup 2006 Wayne Rooney debacle now? Check the video below if you haven’t seen it, and make sure the speakers are on because the commentary is lovely. Let’s hope this run of form translates over into the Euro this summer.

The guy is, just like Mourinho, obscenelly good in what he does… And makes it look so simple…

That was an amazing goal for sure. He’s playing at such a high level right now. It’s amazing.
I think losing out to Kaka for Player of the year last year has really got him motivated. He just needs to maintain this form in the Champions League and at the Euro. Then he will have made a place for himself in history with the greatest of the greats.
He’s got the talent and the drive at the moment.

This is also something that we grew up with in PT – FC Porto´s first win, in what is today the Champs League (probably CR though of it at the time…) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7cwsWThYjBE

There weren’t many United fans calling for CR7’s head after WC06 (it was the rest of the country who demonized him): united fans tend to stick by their players (like Beckham after France 98). It’s part of the reason why you might see this in manchester: United > England.

Fair enough, Ak. Thanks for the clarification. I’m sure the rest of the country (non United fans) would have been more than happy to see Ronaldo not suiting up in the red 7 every weekend.

Probably! Didn’t he pull out of the friendly against Greece because of an “injury”?

Where is that dolt named Luis? He was such a creep.

Right on Pedro. the video says it all.
Maybe the critics who claim that he doesn’t show up for big games can finally stuff it. 7 goals in 8 CL games and yesterday they were playing a defensive system that made it allot harder for him to contribute.
There isn’t a player in the game today who brings the excitement or creativity that CR does (and I’m a Liverpool fan!) every game. Not just some days or occasionally. Amazing player and an absolute thrill to watch.

I think if there´s some jokers around, these are the ones… http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/39995/Ronaldo-s-just-a-big-head- Anyway, it´s too fun…
