Scolari will finally announce the Portuguese squad for the World Cup. He will end a series of discussion about which players should be capped and will allow us to spend the same amount of time complaining about some of his choices.

Last week, Felipão said that anybody could find out at least 21 of the 23 men, so I’ll make my guess.

Although the Portuguese press believes that Ricardo Costa will be on the list, I still believe in Tonel. If Ricardo Costa is left out, there will be no player from the Portuguese Champion FC Porto in Germany.

My guess:

Goalkeepers: Ricardo, Quim e Bruno Vale
Defenders: Paulo Ferreira, Miguel, Ricardo Carvalho, Tonel, Fernando Meira, Caneira, Nuno Valente
Midfielders: Costinha, Maniche, Deco, Tiago, Petit, Hugo Viana, Cristiano Ronaldo, Figo, Simão e Boa Morte
Fowards: Pauleta, Nuno Gomes e Hélder Postiga

Scolari will be announcing the Final Roster at 8:00 PM, local time.

what about sergio conceicao. If sclolari doesnt select him then he has a major problem. Scolari is a big wimp.

Sergio Conceição is suspended for doping. He won’t be able to play until august.

heh…james, no doubt you wish he signed for the FA. In that case, I think Scolari was smart to walk away. I love English football, but can’t blame Big Fil for avoiding the English paparazzi.

Yes luis. The paparazzi are weirdo’s in england. They love to find out saucy stories about managers.

Look at Erect Ericsson. They dished the dirt on him and his many female friends. I wonder how many women he had while he was in Italy.

Anyways lets change subject as I started it. hehe.

Ok back to Portugal, I am still waiting online to find out. Looks like Inzagi and Oddo going to world cup for Italy.

George, F Meira will replace Jorge Andrade on the 11 starter. Tonel or Ricardo Costa will take the spot on the 23.
