Wise Scolari – The XI starters

Luiz Felipe Scolari is a wise man. Everyday, before training, he reads our blog looking for the best opinions. On Monday, I gave you my 11 starters, with Paulo Ferreira, Petit and Tiago instead of Miguel, Costinha and Maniche and guess what. They were among the starters on the train in Evora.

Scolari might try different formations, once that he like to be prepare for whatever happens. In 2002 he trained the Brazilian team to play with only 10 players for several time. At the end, when Ronaldinho received the red card on the game against England, the team knew exactly how to play.

Anyway, the team which started the training today was: Ricardo, Ferreira, Carvalho, Meira and Valente; Petit, Tiago and Deco; Figo, Ronaldo and Pauleta.
