Deco takes a ding

June 9th, 2006 | By: Luis | 9 Comments »

We knew it had to happen sooner or later. We’ve dodged the injury bug this far, but today with only minutes left in the team’s workout, Deco gave the camp a real scare when he went down on a challenge from Costinha. He was treated on the field and was visibly upset by the situation, taking out a few chairs on his way to the showers. Team doctors will analyze the situation and provide more details after a full review of the injury has been completed.

Keep that ice pack on Deco. We’re counting on you for this Sunday.

The guy got so upset and mad about it, he even kicked a chair.

Anyway, apparently he’ll be OK. It’s gonna be his first ever WC, he just arrived from a very demanding season, where he became winner of the Champs League for the second time, and I just don’t know what to write anymore, cos I’m super anxious for it all to start, sunday, against Angola. Man…

FORCA PORTUGAL, PORTUGAL, PORTUGAL!!! -)

Deco was one of the best player in Portugal. I like him very well. But I think the matsch against Germany was really sad, because there haven’t fight for the third place. But I’m like Deco at best, he#s my favourite soccer-player ^__^
