How much is the World Cup worthy?

The Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) is offering national team players their biggest-ever bonus if they win World Cup.

Giberto Madail would not specify the exact amount each player would take home, telling daily newspaper Jornal de Noticias that “all I can tell you is that it will be enough to buy a good car”. “Everything has been defined. Now all that is left is for the team to play,” he added. Sports daily Record, citing unnamed federation sources, said each player would get 275,000 euros if Portugal wins the World Cup Final in Germany on 9 July.
