Lobbing for Scolari

Some of the British Press started lobbing for Scolari. While they criticize Steve Mclaren, the favorite to coach their national team after the World Cup, they have only praise to Scolari.

I hate this kind of speculation BEFORE the World Cup. It can only harm the teams involved.

This report is also about that:

I just read that Rui Costa will be retiring from football after the current Italian season. Is this news or old news??…I guess it’s news to me. Maybe he can be Portugals new coach.

I believe Rui Costa would just LOVE to finish his career with his all-time love, SL Benfica!

Will it happen…?

There is nothing for sure. First, he would like to talk to Milan to see if they want to keep him. Them he will decide if he is going back to Fiorentina, Benfica or maybe retirement.

I just read no….he says he is not in negotiations with Benfica and is planning to retire with AC…that’s a shame. It would be great if he could finish his career in Portugal. I would also love to see Figo finish his career with Sporting…
