Mexico x France review
Yesterday I came back earlier from work just to get home in time to watch this game. I’m not quite sure if it was a wise decision. The game was so boring, that I bravely fought to not fell asleep.
Mexico showed us what I pretty much said on my analyses one month ago: they are a very well organized team but they lack individual talent. The Mexicans fills the field’s spaces when defending and pass the ball a lot when attacking. However, there isn’t anybody capable of giving Borgetti or Franco the opportunity to score.
Mexico showed some incapacity to make plays. The team depends a lot on crossed balls, hoping Borgetti wins on the aerial game. Their best chance was with Rafa Marqués heading the ball after a free kick.
Defensibly they are really good. They are very well placed on the field. It will be need a lot of talent and quick pass to get into their defense. However, as I said before, they are not very tall and therefore they are fragile on crossed balls. France knew that so they tried a lot of this play and they succeeded once, on Malouda’s goal.
I say Mexico won’t conceive a lot of goals on this World Cup and might score some against weakest teams. They might even go further on the tournament if they play against teams with better offensive then defensive skills. They might handle powerful attacks but they can’t overcome strong defenses.

I admit that Mexico demonstrated a complete lack of finishing on the attack, but that’s just it. In the second half Mexico showed potential arriving at France’s doorstep on multiple occasions. Perhaps you also fail to acknowledge that Mexico didn’t want to show off too many variations of its offense prior to the tourney.
In my opinion they were only shadows of their real potential in that game and have yet to show their real stuff.
Next stop is the Netherlands, another real good team, and we can get another view of Mexico in that game.

You see f@ckers, we should have brought el Blanco. Hell bautista would have scored. But noooo Mr. Puto Lavolpe puts 2 defensive players on the wing. Que pendejo. The game should have ended 0-0. He could have brought Medina and put him on the wing. He would have gave those tall frenchmen a hardtime. Its going to be a long month come June amigos.
