Pauleta comments on a terrible season

April 18th, 2007 | By: Luis | 6 Comments »

PauletaRetired Portuguese international, Pedro Miguel Pauleta, isn’t having the best days of his career at PSG even though he continues to score plenty of goals. PSG currently sits just three points above the relegation zone and faces some tough matches that may make or break their campaign to remain in France’s top flight. As captain, Pauleta is keenly aware that a majority of the responsibility falls on his shoulders.

Relegation is no way to end a career, so good luck Pauleta. You may not play for the “selecção das quinas” any more, but we haven’t forgotten you yet.

On thinking about our vets, it could be added that Figo was once again the best Nerazurri player at Inter’s 1-3 defeat against Roma. Playing through 90 minutes, he was close to a goal in the overtime, right before Roma’s third goal. The bad luck concerning scoring, however, won’t let him go.
He was really down after the match but still ready to bless my friend and me unctuously, though we only knelt down to pick up Cordoba’s lost coins. I’m sure God will never leave us from now on… ;-)

Sorry, you know the Blacks&Blues are spelt NERAZZURRI, I just want to make sure that you know I’m capable of spelling it.

Oh Pauelta…why did he stay at PSG? He could have gone on to great things but instead decided to play for PSG a now failing team in a poor French league. :(

Pauletta still is a great player & made a good choice to stay at PSG. France is a great football nation that rightfully played the FIFA championship match in 2006.
