I found this long after the match with Iran was over. C. Ronaldo’s goal was the 100th of the Scolari era. How appropriate. Hopefully it will be one among many to come. Regardless of the result of this world cup, Portugal has some good times to look forward to. The U21 team didn’t do too well, but they are great individual talents that can be fashioned into a team by a real manager. The talent pool is deep. We have nothing to lose by keeping Big Phil.
