The other’s week

April 23rd, 2006 | By: Luis Paulo | 1 Comment »

As usual, let’s take a small peak to see what’s happened with our opponents during this past week.

Angola: The Angolans capped 24 players for the COSAFA Cup. Although this is not the same team that will be playing against Portugal in the World Cup it is a chance to prepare some of the players that will be in Germany and to scout some new talents.

Iran: While expecting the World Cup roster later this week the Iranian have reasons to be happy: Hashemian is recovering well and their major star Ali Karimi is back in training.

Mexico: It seems like the Mexican stop talking about Blanco. However their preparation is not all peace and quiet yet. They scheduled their preparation in Acapulco during the busiest time in the year.
