Queiroz ready to call Liedson

Carlos Queiroz will call Liedson da Silva Moniz as soon as his Portuguese passport is issued. The 31 year old Brazil born striker from Sporting Lisbon follows Deco and Pepe’s footsteps into the selecção. At this age the only reasonable justification for this move is Portugal’s serious lack of able strikers. A long lasting problem.
