Under-21 squad readies their Euro 2007 finals campaign
With most leagues now wrapped up and out of the way, José Couceiro is preparing his game plan for the Euro 2007 finals that will kickoff on June 10. Of special note on the list are Hugo Almeida who recently secured a contract extension with Werder Bremen and FC Everton midfielder Manual Fernandes. Both players are in great form in recent months and Couceiro will likely look to them to lead the team forward when it matters most.
Portugal is in group A along with Belgium, Isreal and the host nation Netherlands. Three group qualifying matches are scheduled as follows:
(all times are local Dutch time)
June 10 Portugal v Belgium 20:45
June 13 Netherlands v Portugal 20:45

Today is a very decisive evening concerning the best player in the world. Kakà and Seedorf have shown their incredible abilities in the last CL matches, and I have confidence that everything in today’s final will be decided by Kakà. If Kakà does well, the whole Milan team does well. The team depends on him, his caprices and skills.
Personally, I’m always carefully when deciding about the best player, especially now, for there is no really dominating man around like Figo was.
As a fact, Ronaldinho is out of the wood, even if Barcelona win La Liga. I’m really amazed how many people still go on raving about “their” Brazilian happily, but today is not last year.
In the semi-finals, Kakà WAS the best player in the world, but even Ronaldo can have a bad day once in a while.

Do you think that christiano ronaldo is the best player in the world? Personally i do, but he did nothing in the fa cup final.
Hopefully big stars can come to the premiership in the up and coming transfer window.
