He pulled a Figo! Nice job. Still not great, but better than some random Turkish club paying him loads of cash. Would've preferred to see him go back to Porto or another Portuguese club, but at least he'll playing a top-tier league.

In an unexpected turn of events it seems Maniche didn't follow Bugs Bunny on that left turn at Albuquerque and some sense got into his head so he's going to FC Koln (12th in the Bundesliga last year). Just confirmed on their website: http://www.fc-koeln.de
There is hope after all.

Maybe Bruno Alves is going to Chelsea or Barça. Maybe Moutinho is going to Real Madrid. Maybe Eduardo is going to Benfica. At one time I even read maybe Nani was going to Atletico de Madrid. What I really want is to post here about our lads finding suitable clubs that have them playing regularly. Moutinho to Real Madrid could mean the opposite of this statement. Eliseu going to Lazio might also be a step up to his career and who knows if he takes the opportunity to learn some new skills and steps up his finishing capabilities.
The top Portuguese clubs seem to just want that. Half-backed south american young guns that want to play there harts out to sign the big contract in Spain, England or whatever.

No Mention of Bruno Alves maybe going to Chelsea or Barca?

Also, I don't know how much of a chance it stands, but there are rumours saying Real is going after Moutinho since Liverpool is asking too much for Xavi Alonso. 3 portuguese players on a top tier team? Sign me up.

And hopefully one day your "sunny future" comes to reality and our clubs start playing the young portuguese players instead of all these random south americans who are looking for their stepping stone to a big pay day with another club in Europe

That was a great read!
I don't remember the last time I enjoyed an article like this one.
Portugal dropped 6 ranks!!! Oh my god !!! I didn't know that.
I honestly have no clue why the fpf are keeping Queiroz"with all due respect". I mean after their game with Albania, I lost every drop of hope in Queiroz. Because that poor performance isn't really what the Portuguese football is about. If Portugal was lucky enough to get through Denmark I honestly don't think they'll make it through the early stages in the World Cup and it saddens me. Because this generation is the best and deserves to be rewarded in such a competition.
Ops! I think I went beyond the subject.
It was a great article though.
